More than 60 MPs were suspended from a state assembly in India on Wednesday amid ugly scenes that saw the speaker pelted with Cheap PUMA Shoes, seats thrown and a flower-pot-wielding woman legislator dragged away by security. The legislature in the eastern state of Bihar has been in uproar for several days, with opposition members demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over an alleged corruption scandal.

In a bid to restore order inside the House, marshalls were called in to flush out the agitating MLAs. State RJD President Abdul Bari Siddiqui and RJD deputy leader in the Assembly Shakeel Ahmed Khan were among those suspended.
