One step forward, two steps back
In 2006, Matt Potts believed he finally had a product he could sell that would set him free.Founder of ArchPort, Potts invented a sandal that could store credit cards, cash and keys in its sole. Instead of selling the PUMA Voltaic Shoes out of his garage in Fremont, he hoped to have them in specialty travel stores, hotels and various tourist destinations.Then the floor dropped out from under him.
