N.B. volunteer shows heart and sole

French athlete Lolassonn Djouhan had a guardian angel this week at the IAAF World Junior Championships in Moncton, and he did not even know it.Her name is Deanna Steeves, one of the approximately 3,000 volunteers that have worked to make Atlantic Canada largest-ever sporting event run smoothly.Steeves encountered Djouhan, a discus thrower, when she was working at the welcome desk. He was upset because he had brought Mens PUMA Shoes that were one size too big.
Steeves stepped in to help, but the search was not easy. I went on the internet, she said. I called every athletes-wear store in the province and nobody carried discus PUMA Ferrari Shoes.
